Vinnie, the one brown from Daphne’s first litter, now resides in sunny southern California with his owner Trish Davidian and is being expertly shown by his co-owner Patricia Rusko.  Vinnie is off to a great start in the show ring.  In June 2008 he was awarded Winners Dog and Best of Winners at the Long Beach show and then in July he was awarded Best in Puppy Sweeps at the Bearded Collie Club of Southern California Specialty.  Here is what the Judge, Joyce Ann Burgett, Winberlee Bearded Collies, had to say about Vinnie.  “Beautiful head and expression with a nicely arched neck which leads to strong shoulders.  Lovely smooth movement.  Nice length of back and loin. Well balanced with front angulation working with the rear.  I was proud to award this puppy BEST IN PUPPY SWEEPS.”   

Then at the BCCA Nationals in Rohnert Park, California Vinnie was awarded 2nd place in the Twelve to Eighteen Month Dogs class by breeder judge Wendy Hines, Ramsgrove Bearded Collies, UK.  Wendy had this to say about Vinnie, “Less Mature lad.  Lovely head and expression, excellent balance and overall proportions.  Just preferred type of winner.”
